Christian has advised and taught a wide range of companies in management and communications since 1996 and is known nationally as a management expert in national TV and newspapers (e.g. DR2 Deadline, Aftenshowet and Børsen).
Over the past four years, more than 1,000 leaders from IBM, Novo Nordisk, Nordea and SAS conducted leadership training with Christian and his company Orsted People Development (Ørsted Udvikling & Ledelse).
498 managers have completed the two month CoachingManagement intensive leadership seminar. They have been trained in coaching as a management tool with nationally recognized academic accreditation by Christian, who as one of only ten Danish consultants are certified by the Danish Psychological Association’s Society for Evidence-Based Coaching.
Besides his broad academic and practical training in leadership, communication and organizational psychology, Christian has also undergone extensive training in yoga, meditation and mindfulness, including During his two-month long stay in the Tibetan Buddhist monastery in the Himalayas in 2003.
Christian’s work is to inspire and engage leaders, giving perspectives, skills, and the tools to succeed. The core of this work is the focus on corporate and personal values as well as mission and narratives as drivers for corporate change and sustainable positive change in personal behavior. Christian draws on his background in management positions and the teachings he has received in professional facilitation, spiral dynamics integral, performance psychology and meditation. Christian has received trainer certification training for SPI Solution Selling as well.
Results and Experience
Christian has worked with a number of the world’s strongest brands with increasing marketing effectiveness. Furthermore, he has assisted Scandinavian companies with starting new business units, or creating new companies from strategy development, business planning, raising capital, hiring employees and training management and sales people in leadership development and skills training.
Co-wrote the national bestseller E-business – digitale forretningsstrategier with Jesper Bove-Nielsen in 1999. Published by Boersens Forlag selling more than 8,000 copies, making it the number one business bestseller of the following year. With a focus on business development and strategy instead of technology it was a unique book at the time and an instant hit. The book is based on Christian’s work with Danish and international businesses – a job that has prompted numerous awards, including a bronze lion in Cannes and numerous national prices for e-commerce, direct marketing and viral marketing.
